I am Ray Reiner and I am seeking the HISD School Board Trustee position for
District V. I am interested in continuing to contribute to the educational
growth and development of all children. We are living in a global economy
and our students need to be afforded every possible educational opportunity
that we can offer.I have been
a committed and enthusiastic supporter of the Houston Independent School
District and its mission for many years.
Specifically, my longstanding relationship with HISD
includes numerous successful leadership positions within the organization.I have had the wonderful opportunity to serve the students, parents,
and communities in Houston in varied capacities, resulting in increased
academic achievement and efficiency of our school operations. Additionally,
I have always been focused on increasing parental and community engagement.
